I was extremely empressed with all four Boys and Girls Club teams who participated against over 40 teams who are all professionals in financial trading. I was blown away by the success of the Kitty Cats from the Boys and Girls Club South Omaha Branch. These young men not only doubled there starting investment, but they finished 6th in a field of highly experienced professionals. Each member deserves high praise for such a wonderful accomplishment. Boys and Girls Club did a fantastic job of showing these young men and women there potential in the professional world. I am looking forward to the celebration. My life and my family’s foundation was established at the Boys Clubs back in the late 60′s. My mother believed in what the Club meant in our lives and I will celebrate my 35th year in the Movement this year. I am so honored to have learned from the some of the best men around…Bill Hinckley, Tom Davis, Ike Snell, Dwight Day, Fred Schott, Don Preister, Maurice Lambert, Lonnie McIntosh, Walter Henderson, Wayne Houston and Bob Solonynka.

I went to the Club when girls could not even attend, but thank God, I was not a sit -back -in – the -back and be quiet kind of girl. Thank you Boys & Clubs of Omaha for 14 years of growth and learning. Congratulations on 50 years of imapcting our youth and the community! God bless you always!
