Thanks to Cox Communications and The James M. Cox Foundation, we were able to renovate three Cox Technology Centers at three Club locations! The lucky Clubs receiving tech center updates were: the Mount View Club, the North Club, and the South Club.
Our members are excited to use the updated technology center to complete homework, do their reading program, and expand their STEM learning! The new computers will help bridge the digital divide for members who have limited access to computers or internet at home.
Last Friday, we had the grand opening for the Cox Tech Lab at the Mount View Club where Lynne Sangimino, Cox Vice President-Omaha and BGCM Board Member, and Senator Justin Wayne spoke to some very excited Club members. The kids celebrated the event with ice-cream sandwiches and a dance party!
