Bank of the West Awards $10,000 For Money Matters Program

By October 1, 2018News & Events

Bank of the West awarded Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands $10,000 for our Money Matters program. The Money Matters program provides behavior-changing financial education to help teens embark on the path toward budgeting, saving, planning for college and financial freedom.

A group of Bank of the West employees visited the new Millard Central Boys & Girls Clubs to present the check to members. Bank of the West employees then spent the afternoon volunteering at the Club. Volunteers helped Club members with science activities, held a session about social media safety, talked with members and even played dodgeball in the gym!

We’re grateful to Bank of the West employees, Rob Trebilcock and Torian Walker, for helping to facilitate a volunteer event for Bank of the West employees at our Millard Central Club.
