Hawkins Family Westside Club
The Hawkins Family Westside Club is a partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands and Westside Community Schools. The school district provides a building attached to Westbrook Elementary School in which the Club operates after school and summer programs. The school district also provides transportation to the Club from Hillside Elementary, Westside Middle and Westside High School. The Westside Club serves more than 800 youth each year from around the Metro. In 2008 the Club was awarded the National Honor Award for Program Excellence amongst all Clubs with budgets under $500,000.
